Halogens: F, Cl, Br, I, At

The Halogens each have one less electron than a Noble gas; each has seven valence electrons. Halogens are among the most reactive elements, especially fluorine and chlorine. Their chemistry is dominated by their great ability to remove electrons from other atoms.
