EXPERIMENTS

A polyurathene foam [local] is formed by producing a polyurethane (polycarbamate) polymer in the presence of a fluorocarbon blowing agent. The polyfunctional character of the reactants results in a high degree of cross-linking in the product, forming a rigid foam.
