Sometimes too many resources are as great a problem as not enough resources. Below are the first eight hits from a search for 'onion DNA extraction'. This experiment/exercise/demonstration is epidemic in the U.S. educational system. There are probably as many people claiming to have first introduced DNA extraction from onions as claim they attended the original Woodstock.
Look through these different 'resources' and try to get a feeling for what they have in common, what might be a complication for classroom use, and for what level it might be a useful classroom resource.
