This list of physics demonstrations to illustrate the mechanical equivalent of heat (scroll down to section I5) was noted in the "Principle Topics" section. The adiabatic expansion of air in bottle illustrates vapor pressure and dew points as well as cooling during expansion, but a heavy plastic bottle with tape should be substituted for safety.
